I will be honest and say it leaves balls BUT both me and my husband have long hair and shed like dogs and I might be wrong but I think the carpet in this rental is from when it was built in the 70's lol the water is as big as my Hoover I also have so to me it is normal size. This one you plug in and give it a little bit to heat up the water and it will suck up the carpet if it was not attached down it
