Our berber is old and may be mashed down too much or something, but our bissell cleaner does not get close enough to the carpet to pull the water back out. It looks like it cleans the spots, but they come right back to the surface about 3 weeks later. I am cleaning the master bedroom carpet monthly now. The next project on the bucket list is to put a new floor in that room since the carpets are nasty looking now. darn dogs!!! LOL
