Most Terrier breeds want to be the boss, so be careful try to match a leader with a follower. Dachs are usually friendly if raised with another breed. They are barkers too so apartment QUIET training, at a early age is a must. I have several friends that have chihuahua and yorkies, poodles and yorkies and even Poms and Yorkies. So personality is more important than breed. JMO
