Are you wanting a larger dog or a small dog or does it matter?

I think Shelties and/or Collies are good with Yorkies, but some tend to think herding dogs could hurt them by trying to herd them.

I think a Golden is the "always the right choice" choice. And on a smaller end, I'd say maybe a shih tzu or a pomeranian.
