As far as the pattern I use, my favorite harness pattern is Simplicity 2393. It is for harnesses, but it is SOOO easy to use. Then to make dresses with it, I add various skirt patterns either from different patterns I have purchased or I make my own patterns for the skirts. I started out sewing (or trying to) with a McCall pattern and it was very confusing to me. I'm sure if I was to try it again, I might understand it better now that I have had more practice. But that 2393 is so easy and my favorite. Wait on Hobby Lobby or Joann to have a sale though...you can get it for a buck!
I do have more of the owl fabric on hand. That one pictured above was a custom order I had. I believe it was a size small. I am not sure if I will be putting a dress in the shop using that one, but feel free to pm me if you are interested in a certain size.
