The very first pattern I tried, a McCall pattern, reminds me of the style pictured. It is different, but the underside is whole like that. Now, I am not a fan of that pattern, but I need to try it again. It confused the heck out of me, but again, it was the very first one I tried. I'm sure if I tried it again now, I might like it better and understand it more. But if you want to try this pattern, I tell you the BEST YT'er for help with this one is KJC, Kathy. She made us a dress using this pattern and it was perfect! She rocks! Here is the pattern I am referring to:

I know if I try this pattern again as well, I will need to lengthen the skirt. It is on the short side.
I'm not sure if this will be anything like what you are looking for, but I wanted to share since I had used this one. Also, I wonder how Miss Daisy Designs patterns are on the underside of the dresses? I've never bought a dress pattern, but a fellow YT'er may be able to tell us about that.
