I know for sure that Alaska AL, Penair, Continental, and Delta does let your pet on the flight with you as long as you have the proper carrier, documents and they fit under the seat in front of you. I don't think that any officially let them sit with you. I have had a couple of nice fligh attendants on flights that let me take him from under the seat, but it's not a rule.
