Hi.....I am not 100 percent on this subject but I think she will stay in heat for around 2-3 weeks. It is normal for her to have a bloody discharge at this time. I'm sure someone with more knowledge on this subject will chime in soon. You can get dog diapers for her to wear during this time to help with the mess and prevention.
