I wouldn't let anyone train my dog in their home. I won't even let them train in my home without me being there. You just have to be very careful about trainers because they may be hiting your dog and you do not know about it and not like your dog is able to tell you about it. There is no shortcut to train a dog. It takes time to learn. Be patient and consistent.
