He picked up very quickly. Although he is trained for outdoors, as well, I still walk him to the Pad during inclement weather or snow storms. And, I still do the Same Thing!! Jumping up and down.

He will occasionally use it when I am home and it is soooo Cute! I will know if he has used it because he will run to me and Bark to let me know he has used it!! LOL!!!!

I haven't had any problems with him when we go visiting or are out he will hold it and go outside... I have a few belly bands but have never had to use them. It's like if he knows there is no potty pad, then he knows he needs to hold it and go outside....??!
Ohhh I also do the same thing, outside! Will act all crazy and make a scene like it's the Best thing in the world he has ever done! LOL!! He gets all Happy!!

I love your fashionable setup and Riley is such a good boy.

We do the same as you -- throw a party when the guys do their business, indoors on the pad and outdoors! They love the praise.

When my brothers visit, they have a good time praising the doggies too.

Max and Teddy are like Riley, they know that there are no pads at other people's houses or in other indoor places.
