I was using the Purina Second Nature Litter Box but the opening was not very big so he would have to jump into it to use it. What he started doing was standing outside of it but lifting his leg and aiming to pee onto the pad..
I bought a puppy patch before ever bringing Huey home. We started with pee pads, which he shredded and drug all over the house, so moved on to the puppy patch. He pulled the grass off and shredded it all over the house. Bought a different brand with more secure grass and taller sides. Same result. This little bugger has been hiking his leg since he was 3 months old; neutered at 6 months, still hikes so high that if the wind is blowing, he has fallen over. Marks everything. Gave up on indoor training. He goes on the deck or in the garage basement in inclement weather. We just hose everything off. Belly bands are used when we go visiting to prevent marking. I guess this means I have given up...
