Last night, little Dolce was all curled up in her bed, sound asleep. I decided this was the perfect opportunity to work on an art project that I needed a lot of floor space for, since she's usually right where I am and would be in the way. Well, the project required me to have a little pyrex dish of bleach. Since she was totally passed out from playing earlier, I had it right next to me on the floor.

Well, lo and behold, she jumped up out of bed and came running right over to see what I was doing. Before I could even do anything, she shoved her face right in the bowl of bleach and took a big lap of it. Of course I immediately freaked out and it didn't help that she started wheezing and running around all crazy. I flushed her mouth and throat out with a ton of water (so much that I made her puke), but she seemed to be just fine afterwards.

WHAT A SCARE! Just goes to show you that these little ones can do the least expected things (who would think you could get your nose even NEAR bleach and still want to drink it?!?!) and we always have to be on guard.

Has anyone else ever had any scares like this?
