 Flagyl side effects I'm worried!
My 3 yr old 4lb yorkie has been on flagyl for over a week due to severe gastritis. Her dosage was 250 mg, half tablet twice a day. I rushed her to vet this morning due to her stumbling and loss of back legs control. I was immed freaking out thinking liver disease/shunt. My vet checked her for neurological problems and found none. He seems to think its a side effect from being on flagyl for a longer period than she has been on in past. He says in moderate or high doses this can occur. I'm freaking out thinking it might be permanent. He says he thinks she will be fine. I trust my vet, because she has been sick constantly since she was a puppy. I just though it would make me feel a lot more at peace with this if I knew if anyone has experienced this with their baby?
