 Cough Advice
I am new to this site and looking for some advice for my little boy Bartholomew.
Barty is 13 years old, very active and in excellent health.
Recently, he has developed a cough, sometimes sounds like he is clearing his throat, sometimes a honking. It happens about 3 or 4 times a day...and every morning when he wakes up.
I took him to the VET, I was told the xray showed no real problem with his trachea. We have tried antibiotics for a possible lung infection....some other medication that is supposed to calm the stomach. Nothing is working.
The only thing that seems to help right now is give him raw carrots which immediatly stops the coughing attack.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. |
