Jackson is 16lbs and he gets about 2/3 cup per day (1/3 AM, 1/3 PM). He gets some treats for training and chews etc too.

For example the 2.5lb bag at Petsmart is $16.49, where as the 10lb bag (4 times as much, so should be $65.96)is only $40.49, so your saving over $25 buying the bigger bag. Thankfully, RC comes in a great resealable bag. I just pour out the amount I need each week into the jar I keep on my kitchen counter.
I still can't believe the prices sometimes on those small bags. I know RC does a lot of research, etc, which I appreciate. The prices are just too crazy for me! (on the small breed foods).

That's like almost $7/lb for the small bag. And still $4/lb for the 10lb bag. If I'm doing the math correctly in my head?

You can get other really top notch well researched brands for $3 or less per pound. Annamaet for example, you can get for around $1.65/lb. Solid company, very well respected in the industry. Dr Tims, same thing, somewhere around $1.30/lb. $2.60/lb for Fromm Gold. And they are very comparable (better IMO).
