Just got off the phone with the doc. Jack's been having x-rays and bloodwork done all morning. The good news is the x-rays didn't show any major problems he didn't anticipate, so he can go ahead with the surgery. His fear was that there was a larger problem he didn't know about, but that's not the case. So he'll be going into surgery in about 20 minutes.
