That is a good thing to know, that alcohol (ETOH) is the antidote to antifreeze. We used to use alcohol drips to save people who drank antifreeze, although I havent seen one in a very long time. (I have been a nurse since we could smoke at the desk, if that tells you anything). Anyway, if your dog gets into antifreeze, give it beer, vodka, rum, wine, whatever it will drink ON YOUR WAY TO THE VET. Do not treat this st home! |
