She is still with us. She is very weak and will not suckle. Her mom has milk but I can't get her to latch on. I have given her some formula with a syringe to keep her strength up. She will not suck on the syringe either but she will swallow.
She was thriving and if she was nursing you could hear her being a little piggy.
It has been very cold here but I have had her in my bedroom in a carrier surrounded by blankets. I did not have a heating pad on her. I should have given the fact that she is a single pup and now that she is older the mom has started to leave her more. |
