LOL oh boy do I remember those days... Well actually to be truthful, I am still living them sometimes and Jackson is 4. He can be VERY annoying when under exercised however he has developed a nice off switch... it is different than when he was under 1.
I remember I used to feel like I did stuff with him all day long, exercised him a lot, etc, and he'd still be crazy, wouldn't sleep, etc. He went through a phase of not sleeping too and would just stare at the door all night to get to my dads cats. Ugh...
He can still be somewhat hyper active, but it's a different way. And even tho a 3 mile walk doesn't really "DO" much for him (he could probably do another 4-5 after that, lol), it satisfies him enough/settles him. |
