Is he your first Yorkie? I know you must be very excited and so thrilled to have him. I remember when mine were little puppies. It is scary to think of him so young though. Did the breeder indicate why he was separated from his mommy so soon? The policy in Florida is 8 weeks. I am sure you have had him checked out by a vet but you might want to get in touch with some of the more experienced folks in your area for very special care unless you have had experience or some kind of training that you can fall back on. They are very much like a big family over there. |
