Unfortunately, I don't live in Arlington anymore
We are in South Central Kentucky now. That is little Rox in the picture. She will be 7 in May and weighs 8-8.5 pounds. Her ribs are easily felt and she is very active but the vets always tell me she is overweight. My friend was looking to adopt a yorkie from a rescue and I noticed that a lot of them were 8-9 pounds but they keep telling me she needs to be less than 7. She walks at least 2 miles a day (not including running around the yard, house, up and down the stairs) and we feed her maybe a total of .5 cup of food a day (split in 2 servings). Hardly ever any treats (and only holistic) but she just cannot lose weight.
