Greetings,
I have previously introduced myself and that we are expecting a new Yorkie, Sophie, in a few weeks.

We plan to put her house in the downstairs bathroom (already puppy proof) when it is time for bed. Her house will be in the family den during the day.

Main Question: Is it safe to leave her in her house, house door open, bathroom door closed, the first night she is with us? I am concerned about separation anxiety leading to hypoglycemia, while we are sleeping. Can anyone help?
