So sorry to hear of your loss. These little guys grab a piece of our hearts from day one and never let go. What a wonderful way to celebrate Lucy's life.

I lost my little Poppy March 2009 and still get upset when I think about her. I donated all of her things (except her booda hippo - that toy I had to keep and have it by her picture) to the local dog rescue. Yes, I cried all the way home, then cried when I walked in the door and her travel crate was not by the wall, then cried when I walked in the bedroom and her ramp was gone, then cried myself to sleep.

I ordered a memorial rock and put it in the backyard in her favorite spot. A large river rock with her name and dates on it. Now I smile every time I see it - she loved that spot.

When I got Max and Abby (Poppy left big paws to fill, so I had to get two!) the first thing they did when we went in the yard was to go and stand on the stone. (Every one asked if they peed on it - no, they just stand on it from time to time.)

These little guys bring so much joy to our lives. It was very thoughtful of you to help bring joy to someone else's life.
