Ok, I had this oppotunity arrise and I was wondering if it was something you have heard of, or would be leary of. I have been talking to this breeder about her puppies for a while. As we were talking we got into the fact that I would like to learn to show, and possibly someday breed if the circumstances are right. Well as I have gotten to know her she said she liked me and would be willing to mentor me. I was thrilled at the idea because I know that I will need help and advice often. Now she has offered me a dog for free, registared and everything, the only thing she wants in return is one female puppy of her choice in a later litter. Is this strange, or does this happen often, or am I just really lucky? I am not sure what to think. What do you guys think?
