Huey has a dog bed. It is on top of his crate and used as a toy box. He only goes in his crate when sick or hiding. He sleeps in the bed with us. He has stairs to get in the bed as well as the top of his crate which is in front of a window and has a pad besides the toy box/bed which he does lay on.
