FYI if you don't want to wash pads daily, say you just get one soiled pad a day and usually do laundry once a week...
remove any excess soil-drop poop in toilet then rinse the pad, wring out excess urine then rinse pad...
Place the rinsed soiled pad in a 50/50 solution of water and 3% hydrogen peroxide, like in a bucket or old Costco mayonnaise jar (lol) with lid.

This removes staining, stops bacterial or mold growth and is basically a prewash in itself.

Hydrogen peroxide is safe for all colors and fabrics just be careful with hemp or natural dyes excessive exposure will degrade these.
