Everyone that shows started at one time or another. I don't know how old your daughter is but junior dog showmanship is taught in 4H. Also many dog clubs have classes. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Go to dog shows and watch. Many of the vendors at dog shows know people that show and wouldn't mind helping you. Some shows offer newbie classes before the event. We took that class. The show secretary told us to meet her at a specific time so she could help groom our lab. She helped us and he placed second in the puppy class. Be bold and be aware to keep trying to get information because no pun intended, but show dog people can be indifferent as you are competition
