Mine tend to wake me up when I toss and turn or get restless during the night. They think if I am moving, I should be moving with them or at least rubbing their bellies.

One of the things that has really helped me was to get a dog walker. During the day, the dog walker comes over for about and hour and walks and plays with them. She also checks their water dish and replaces their potty pad if they have soiled it. When I am working the late shift, I schedule the dog walker for a later time and she will feed them, walk them, and have a little belly rub time. Plus, as an added bonus, I get a text with a photo of my pups everyday! Nothing can make a crap day better than getting a cute pic of your pups!

You may also consider an automatic feeder to keep them on a more regular feeding schedule.
