ZoE is a girl, but she lifts one of her back legs about an inch or two off the ground when she pees, so when she's done, she steps over it and not in it. She started doing this as she got older & her hair got longer. I don't think she likes to accidently pee on herself or step in pee puddles on her pads. I'm not complaining...and the little hovering back foot looks sooo cute.
