Mike, all my best wishes today for Jack. I am really sorry about the rescue person not telling the whole story. Maybe she has to many Yorkie's to try and get adopted and she knew you would be good people. I was interested in the comment the state has her do this, I think you said. This is very unusual and would like to hear more.
Just remember, many a person has bought a Yorkie as a puppy and has had to pay big medical bills for LP or vet bills for problems. So rarely is there is even a guarantee on a new puppy or the guarantee is return the puppy for a new one (which very few people will do).
Jack looks like a wonderful addtion to your home and I know he will be loved by all of you.
