It's awesome that you work to get these animals spayed & neutered. I have a couple of friends that are really involved in a local shelter and are always posting pics of the animals on their FB pages trying to drum up homes for them, and almost every animal they list is not fixed

. You have to wonder if the raging hormones & aggressive behavior & marking are contributing to the reason they are in the shelter in the first place.
My daughter had a hard time at the humane society. She wanted to bring home everything....especially the old ones that were reaching their maximum length of stay before they were killed. She always thought she wanted to be a vet, and but after sitting in on some surgeries & seeing animals euthanized, she changed her mind.
