ZoE gets sad when my kids leave to go back to college after being home for a weekend.
She pouts all day long the first day they are gone & will whine at the door at the top of the basement stairs (my kids both have rooms in the finished basement). The thing I found that best stops the whining is to open the door & let her run downstairs. She'll usually drag something of my daughter's (I think she's ZoE's favourite, but don't tell my son
) back up with her...a t-shirt, socks, bra
and sleep on top of it on the couch. Weird!
