First look on the good side-he is not on drugs, drunk, or chasing women he is just lazy. My husband has that lazy streak in him. He does next to nothing. He will do his own laundry but no household chores. I pick my battles. I clean this house and take care of the animals. If I need him to do something I will leave it on a note. If it doesn't get done, I do it. I married this man for better or for worse and made a committment. He is a great provider, just lazy. As long as I have strength, I am going to do this stuff and not let him get me down. I put on rock music and get cleaning. He sits there with two cockatiels on his shoulder and watches me! I will Not let this bug me. Be strong, let him sit, serve him soup, and pray that he sees your great example and gets up off his butt and helps out! |
