This may just be a late warning to what was released late last August. This article does not state which Java version is vulnerable, but there was a fix for the August vulnerability. However, it happens a lot that 'old news' gets dredged up and re-circulated. I'd recommend checking into it more to determine if you need to disable Java...or need Java so things you need will run.
