Puppy proofing help? We're getting Pilot in a few weeks, very excited about little dude's arrival, he will be the first dog to live in this house, so it's quite exciting. His "space" before he is potty trained will be my boyfriend's and I's bedroom. His kennel, feeding area and his regular bed are set up, the tv, modem, and playstation cords are blocked, but I cannot for the life of my figure out how to protect the laptop power supplies. They run under the couch to our coffee table in our room. The couch is high enough that the puppy can walk under it very easily (probably will be able to full grown) and it's the only plug we can use for our laptops. We can't move them due to them being older laptops with short battery lives, it's just not plausible for us to charge the laptops elsewhere, we use them quite often. I looked into the Chewsafe cord protectors, but can't find them for sale and the Marshall cord protectors have complaints of an overpowering odor that lasts far too long. Besides taping the cords to the floor with packing tape (which would be dreadfully tacky) I have no ideas. I don't want to spend a lot on the puppy proofing of these cords but I don't want to have to replace a $100 power supply either. I will be supervising Pilot, but it'd take just a second for him to chew the cords. Help??? |
