Oh I forgot to tell you, I compared the phone number I found on line for the REAL UGGS Co and it was the same as my invoice. I do have the real pair and the Customer Service guy could not have been nicer. He found my order and said the shedding di not sound right, he said he would ship me a pair overnight as a replacement, and when I mentioned I wore them with socks because they were larger than any other size 8 shoe or boot I have. He told me they also stretch and recommended I go down in size. I get to send the other ones back and as long as they get them within 30 days there will be no charge for the return shipping. Alisha I took your advice and also ordered the care kit only they are backorderd for a few weeks. So I must say they had GREAT customer service.
I bought them through a web site called EBATES which is a marketing and shopping search site. When I went to make my purchase I was linked to the UGG site, by doing this I wound up with a rebate of about $9.00 on my purchase and a 10 gift card from a retailer of my choice. Not bad it was like getting $19.00 off Uggs which is very hard to do. They have so many business on there like, kohls, Target, Overstock etc that I shop with anyway that I plan in the future to go through Ebates first instead of going directly. I have had a few friends say that they have gotten $50 to $100 rebate checks from them.
