The vet says I can do it next week but I don't feel comfortable spaying her while she is still taking meds. Should I wait till her meds are finished and gums better? |
If the infection is much improved I would not have a problem with doing the spay toward the end of the round of antibiotics. The infection really needs to be much better before the surgery. But the teeth are probably what caused the infection in the mouth to begin with so you want them out soon and before the infection can get started again.
