My boy has a thing for rugs, too. Thank goodness we have wood floors and I only have a rug in the bathroom. I had to remove all my area rugs and scatter rugs from everywhere else in the house because Scout refused to stop peeing on them even though I used a very expensive spray/cleaner called Urine Off. I keep my bathroom door closed most of the time, but if that boy can get in there and pee, he will. I machine wash the rug at least every other day. Thank goodness it's machine washable! I have no idea what I would do if we had carpet!! Scout is 8 months too, and neutered, so it may not make any difference. I wish you good luck! |
