I thought of that but would it work with two dogs, plus she has the situation of it having to in some ways go though the military. I travel a lot with my dog and know lots of the ins and out so for the heck of it I talked to United Airlines, if the dogs go as cargo they will allow you to check on them and take them out of the cage during the long lay over.
If you were a standard passenger you could by a pass for your dog. If I was you prior to the flight I would just call the airlines directly and see if you could do that, just give them your reservation number and see. I feel for what you must be going through because I know I would be besides myself, if you are forced to go the cargo route you should get tranq. for the dogs but be sure to try them out at home during the day well in advance of you travel date. I read that Hawaii quarantines dogs, will that be the case for you. |
