Very interesting article, I've been reading about this and this is the first time anyone found something that could be potentially hazardous. All the other reports were saying they just couldn't find anything that could make the dogs sick, but this article says that they found "found trace amounts of antibiotic residue in samples of Waggin’ Train and Canyon Creek Ranch chicken jerky products. These antibiotics are approved for use in poultry in China and other major countries, but are not among those approved in the U.S. "

This seems to be the problem in other areas as well, China using some element in the manufacture that wouldn't pass in the US. These companies that buy from China have to make sure every element of the manufacturing process would be approved in the US, otherwise forget about it! Consumers have to be extra careful in being foods that aren’t produced in China at any stage.
