I get Aunt Patty's cold pessed raw (organic gmo free) coconut oil at a local herbal store (Moonrise Herbs).
I use it topically as a yeast prevenrative on my mini schnauzer's ears and have been using a half dime amount to clean my yorkie's bad breath.
We also use it as a diaper ointment on our skin kid who is allergic to everything.
It's like $15 pint jar or something and last a month with all these daily uses.
It does melt at times and "shrink" 15-30minutes in the refrigerator and its "puffed" again.

I would ONLY use a raw cold pressed as when its not in that form its properties change.
