Oh, Kim, I'm so sorry. You knew it was coming - mommie's usually know these things and you did. I could tell from your earlier thread that you knew what was soon to happen and I know we all just prayed it would hold off. But as it didn't and your little sweetie, Lucy, has gone to her Rainbow Bridge, let me say how utterly sorry I am that she had to go at all. It's one of the tragedies of life that these precious beings known as our dogs can't stay with us. But it seems that while she was in your life at least Lucy did her very best to shine like a little star and grace you with her love and gentle spirit each and every day. I know she leaves a hole in your heart and a chasm in your life but I just pray that your pain over time becomes nothing but sweet, lingering memories of the good times.
