I met Jason at an outdoor concert. He was working security and I was there with a friend and her sister. My friend noticed him and kept looking at/for him, but she was going to school 4 hours away at the time so she knew it wasn't worth pursuing for herself. We met up with him and his brother afterwards, hung out and exchanged numbers. He waited 3 days to call because one of his female friends told him he would look "too desperate" to call me the next day. Grrr! We went out on a date the next night, and the rest is history! I believe there was a bit of fate in our meeting because the concert was on Father's Day. I would normally spend the day with my father and would have never gone to that concert otherwise, but he was out of town that year.
