A specialist is what needs to be brought into this....I would get him to a vet school...they have all the cutting edge technology there and all the different specialists....with his age, we can start looking at vascular changes,....dont panic....all treatable....I had my little precious matriarch live on heart meds from age 8 until 16, and she was fine....If it isnt his heart, and it is a pulmonary concern, they will have a specialist there that can diagnose and treat the problem. Please keep us posted about his progress....You are correct tho, with the right diagnosis, you can get him started sooner rather than later, on his road to recovery!
