You really should only be studding in order to better the breed. Does your boy meet all of the Yorkshire Terrior standards? You need to get all of the proper genetic and health tests done, some of which can't be completed until age 2. Do you have his lineage? Is he registered? Just having a nice looking, well mannered dog doesn't mean that he should be studded (I know it's hard, I have two great looking, well mannered males myself!) There are SOOOOO many dogs out there that are killed every day because of over breeding and over population, please don't add to that!
