The extra time makes a huge difference! Although I think Jack was from a puppy mill, I noted very distinct differences (got Jack when he was 10 weeks and Izzy at 12 weeks) between the two of them. Izzy was far easier to potty train and just her social skills with people and other animals is far superior to Jack's. Definitely wait out the extra 2 weeks if the breeder will keep your little guy, it will only benefit him and you in the long run.
