Most people here are friendly and places are fairly safe. I love living here. I am actually from a little city outside of San Diego called Santee. We have a trolley system here that takes you right out here. If you want a reallyl quiet nice place try the Hotel Del Coronado. It is so nice. Just spend a day there. We have LIttle Italy with the best Italian food. Happy vacationing!
I'm actually not far from SD, and have been there many times! I love the Hotel Del. We took Uni there a few years ago, and walked on the beach, not knowing that Coronado is one of the few dog friendly beaches! LOL I want to stay ther some day.

I want to go to Costa Rica, but I think this first vacay is going to be more relaxing. I know CR is more of an "active" vacay. But I do want to go there someday.
