Update: My father called the breeder from a different number and left a message asking about her puppies. Not even five minutes later did she call in response to his message. So he began talking to her, not knowing all the specifics, but she told him that I did not try to reach her and that she did not receive any text messages from me. I am hesitant to call back bc I am already so upset. And after going over everything in my head and thinking of everything I did for the pup, that it had to have been sick prior to me purchasing it. When she was weighed at the vet she weighed 2.07lbs on Saturday. I did alot of research on breeders, emailed a few, and found one on the AKC website offering her pups and went to visit today. The things I saw today were 100% different from when I purchased Lola. So I can state that the first breeder did wrong. The lady I visited today did everything she possibly could to reassure me about her puppies. I saw the mother, the father, all of the puppies, and even one of the moms pups from a litter the previous year who is about one. I felt so much more comfortable talking with this lady and she enlightened me on many things with the puppy. All her dogs, even the pups, were socialized and all had great personalities. So I know that the breeder I delt with first was wrong. In your opinions what should I say to this lady? And with not being able to have a cause of death, how do I go about talking to her. I could care less about getting my money back, if it happens it happens. |
