The 'reputable' breeders that I have come across charge anywhere between 1000.00 to 1500.00...by reputable I meant the ones that do all health test on thier pups before breeding them to ensure the mothers heatlth as well as the puppies. I paid double what you paid from a byb...thankfully they are healthy so far....I learned alot of 'breeder's' arent what they appear to be....again on here I learned buy your breeder first! Which is what I did when I decided to add a Biewer to my family.
Reputable breeders don't let pups go to their new homes until they are 12wks and at least 2lbs.
