I honestly don't know how you think it is so obvious. What is obvious to me is that the vet knew how sick the puppy was since he/she made a direct point to explain about the gum coloring to the op. A lay person knows this is serious...so I am quite sure the vet knew and explained.

Sensitive? Nah....it is just that I think people on here have a strong tendency to say ill things about vets and I will always speak up for professionals. I don't know what I would have done over the years with my precious pups without the knowledge, guidance and care given by my vets. Actually, I do know...most I would not have right now.
